Welcome! The purpose of this site is to serve as a tool for developing a ''community of practice'' among B.E.S.T. class instructors. Please use this tool to post your own ''B.E.S.T. practices'' and read those of your peers. Feel free to respond to ideas posted by others to generate some dialogue as well. The goal here is to create a resource that you will come to often for fresh ideas, advice and feedback.

Just had to post this quote that I pulled from the bottom of a C-mail message from Wendy Tilley:
"You get the BEST effort from others not by lighting a fire beneath them, but by building a fire within them."

I've created a new Weblog to facilitate the redesign of Bally's sales training program. If you want to follow our progress on this project, please bookmark this site and check back often.

Another question for the group: the Sales Training Group is currently considering the possibility of reducing the size of the BEST Participant Manual by removing the exercises and distributing them as a packet. It is also possible that we would have the manuals coil-bound instead of three hole punched, thus eliminating the need for binders. This would likely happen before the next major printing, which will take place in a couple of months.
Any thoughts?

A little update on the video: Anthony met with John Wildman briefly last week, and he is interested in finishing the video and distributing it. However, he also had some suggestions for the final cut that might delay the release date somewhat. I'll keep you posted on our progress.

For those of you who aren't aware, we are currently working on a video demonstrating use of the new "Why Bally?" Presentation Book. Many thanks go out to Steve Bruno and Sharon Knecht, who are Bally's newest video stars. (Click the photo to see them in action. As you'll see, shooting a video is very serious work. :-) Look for the video to be distributed a week or two following distribution of the new Presentation Book pages.

Looks like we have a new interface for posting to the Weblog. Just spent some time looking around, and it actually looks like it will be easier to use. Nevertheless, if you have any questions or problems, please don't hesitate to give me a call.
